Duskwing has made it into Black Desert Online. The dragon mount is finally here after the latest update. The update also adds some Valentine's Day festivities, rewards, and more.
The flashiest and most significant part of the update though, it's all about the dragon. After delaying the introduction of Duskwing for a little bit, Pearl Abyss has added the new mount. You can take the quest for just a limited time. The quest will only be available until February 27th before the maintenance.
Duskwing is impressive, no doubt, but the team wants to make this more of an event than something super powerful. Duskwing is available to all during this event, and completing the Duskwing Calling Horn (14 days). Later, the dragon will be made available as an exclusive reward for guilds that achieve Conquest Lords status.
The team says the event is more of an adventurous opportunity to soar across the skies of Velia because the dragon “lacks offensive capabilities and isn't particularly fast”. The dragon isn't fast, but it is surely impressive as you soar around in the sky. Skills give you a small burst of speed, a greater ascent, or just descend back to the ground. There are a couple of Valentine’s events to enjoy now running from now through February 26th. Events include in-game activities that let you craft and deliver chocolates and exchange love letters with other players, where each of you can get some Valentine's Day themed items. The seasonal events also let you enhance some of your gear without some of the usual requirements.
Two types of Crystal of Fate will prevent gear from dropping levels if you fail an enhancement attempt. So, feel free to take advantage to upgrade some of your gear. To get your hands on these crystals, beat some world bosses at their appearance times. You can also get a crystal each day through challenges and login rewards.
