Yarr, Matey! Open World RPG, Tempest, Sets Sail on Aug 22nd

Herocraft and LionsShade are ready to set sail with their pirate-themed open world RPG, Tempest. Tempest is scheduled for release on August 22nd for PC and Mac at a $14.99 price point. 

Focusing primarily on the most exciting elements of being a pirate – captaining your own ship and engaging in intense sea battles – the world of Tempest is set across three vast open world regions for you to discover. Create, customise and upgrade your sea vessel – the pride and joy of any sea-faring adventurer – and take to the open seas to plunder treasure-laden merchant ships, go cannon-to-cannon with enemy galleons, and storm land based fortresses with your crew.

Players can take on merchant vessels for booty or face off against other scallawags seeking to take their booty. Crews can be hired, weapons (including cannons, mortars and flamethrowers) can be obtained and much more. Add in cooperative play and PvP, and players have much to do.
