When the free to play version of War Thunder arrives on XBox One later this year, players will be able to opt into the crossplay network with PC, Linux and Mac users. The caveat is that any XB1 players with a pre-existing War Thunder account will need to create a new XBox-specific account.
XBox One players can purchase one of three available Early Access bundles to become part of alpha testing to assist developers with chasing down bugs and providing feedback on systems and features. The Starter Bundle is $20, the Advanced Bundle is $60 and the Elite Bundle is $100. Each provides a number of in-game perks including decals, titles and exclusive console-specific vehicles.
