Wuthering Waves Previews 2.2 and MacOS Launch Next Week, Steam Launch Coming

Wuthering Waves is coming to Mac next week with the release of 2.2, "Tangled Truth in Inverted Tower". The team previewed the new update, which adds a new main quest, new Echoes, weapons, and improvements, and also announced that the game is coming to Steam.

On March 27th, the Mac OS version will be out alongside 2.2. In the update, expect a new main quest, “The Maiden, The Defier, The Death Crier” along with a new companion story for Cantarella, a new 5-star Resonator debuting in 2.2, “A Fleeting Night’s Dream”. Rover can unlock a new attribute: Aero, offering a new elemental form.

The update will also introduce seven new Echoes, and a Phantom Echo, Phantom: Capitaneus and a new Sonata Effect: Gusts of Welkin. 

There are two new regions to explore, Avinoleum and Beohr Waters. Beohr Waters is  behind Porto-Veno castle and Avinoleum is a mysterious location inverted in midair. There are new challenges you'll encounter as you explore, including the ability to adjust and alter the direction of gravity. Puzzle through these challenges as you explore. Through the quests, you'll explore and learn more including the truth about Sentinel and the history of Rinascita.

There are a number of optimizations on the way, including to the PC launcher that reduces game resource size, new color settings. There are even some improvements like Story Review to let you review the text for part of the story that you've already experienced if you need to catch back up.
