Version 1.2 of Wuthering Waves is just around the corner, and with it comes new quests, Resonator, and several quality-of-life improvements.
Launching on August 15th, the upcoming “In the Turquoise Moonglow” update includes a new artistic and powerful Resonator that wields a paintbrush. We get just a peak at the combat moves that come with Zhe Zhi, one of the new Resonators, and a bit of their backstory as well. Not only does Zhe Zhi make an appearance, but another new Resonator has also stepped into the spotlight. Xiangli Yao wields technical powers and a cube that slaps enemies into oblivion.
Alongside the new Resonators come two new weapons to use – the Time-Draped Sprouts rectifier and the Verity’s Handle gauntlets. As if that wasn’t enough, there will be a new limited-time event to take part in to earn a few neat rewards.
There will also be a few new noteworthy features brought to Wuthering Waves, such as the new Custom Lock-On feature that allows players to set lock-on priorities for enemies based on their preferences and combat style. There is also a new utility Hoverdroid: Shooter which will allow us to equip it to conquer puzzles and explore Solaris a bit easier. Wuthering Waves’ 1.2 update will also bring the ability to play the RPG at 120 fps, for those eager to eke out those extra frames during their grind.
Though the title has been live for a few months now, with our reviewer enjoying the combat, though finding the story a bit ot desired. Most recently, Wuthering Waves launched the second half of its 1.1 update, including its anticipated Changli banner, as well as performance tweaks and more content for the free-to-play RPG.
