The second phase of Wuthering Waves' 1.1 update is live, and with it comes a plethora of content, optimization, game performance changes, and a 5-star Character Changli Banner to showcase.
Alongside the launch of phase two comes a couple of new events to take part in, such as the Vermillion’s Plot Resonator Convene which boasts a boosted drop rate for Changli, the new character to hit the title. The second event, Blazing Brilliance Weapon Convene, brings a boosted drop rate for the latest five-star weapon, Blazing Brilliance, and a few of the four-star weapons to boot. Version 1.1 of the action ARPG also brings some much-needed hotfixes that optimize a decent chunk of major content and improve overall game performance.
With the 1.1 launch and in-game events comes a full character banner for the 5-star character Changli, who will have a boosted drop rate due to the Vermillion’s Plot Resonator Convene Event. This new character and weapon will only be available until August 14th, so this will be a limited-time event.
There are already two ongoing events happening in Wuthering Waves, including the Lollo Campaign that allows players to take part in new Junzhou Lollo Logistics campaigns. The other event, Tactical Simulacra, is a limited-time battle challenge that allows us to take on simulations in order to enhance our skills and train for the difficult enemies ahead.
Wuthering Waves has been compared to titles such as Genshin Impact but did have a bit of a rocky start upon launch. These issues appear to have been resolved and now players can embark on a new journey through the updated content.
