Warframe’s Dante Unbound update is now live on all platforms, adding the 56th Warframe, Dante, new Incarnon weapons, new Deimos Node: Armatus, new weapon, a new enemy, and much more.
This is the first big content update of the year, and is a Mainline update, featuring what the team has been working on since launching Whispers in the Walls back in December. It also comes after the Digital Extremes team presented at PAX East and announced more on the 11th anniversary, 1999, and the next TennoCon.
Dante, described as a seeker of knowledge, has a passive that scans targets for vulnerabilities and increases status effect chance +50% on enemies you scan.Noctua, his Exalted Weapon time, you can equip with an unlimited amount of Tome mods to fit your playstyle and needs. Launch pages with the primary attack, shredding enemies, and with your second, a wave of infinite Punch Through.
Inspired by classic MMORPG casters, Dante’s combinations are key. Depending on which order you play his protective Light and offensive Dark Verses, he can unleash his fourth ability, Final Verse, which has four options. Some buff and guard your allies and some attack and slay them.
The update also adds new Incarnon weapons via Albrecht’s Void experiments. The destructive fist weapon Ruvox and wrist-mounted cannon, Onos, both require Whispers in the Walls to be completed before you can get the most from them.
A new Deimos Mode, Armatus (Disruption) is also live for the unlocking. Tenno will be tasked with retrieving artifacts and it won’t be uncontested–or easy. A new enemy, Gruzzlings, feature, and they are known for stealing items from the lab and for consuming Keys. Success means chances at drops including Dante, Ruvox, and Onos blueprints, and more.
The 11th anniversary login rewards campaign is on, with the Dex Nikaka Melee weapon and Year Eleven anniversary glyph, and more up for grabs.
One change from this update is that the Deep Archimedea mode has been pushed to next week, where it will be added in a hotfix.
