Blizzard's next expansion for WoW Classic, Wrath of the Lich King, launches its pre-patch today to prepare Azeroth for the upcoming content drop in September.
Notably, the addition of the Wrath of the Lich King pre-patch allows players to create their first Death Knight to prep for the expansion, which launches on September 26th. Blizzard recently detailed the origins of the Death Knight class in a video feature, giving players a deep dive into the class' creation.
Players can also start working on their Inscription Profession, as well as earning achievements that will apply to Wrath of the Lich King Classic when it launches. In the coming weeks, players will be able to take part in the Zombie Infestation as well as Scourge Invasion coming to Azeroth leading into Wrath of the Lich King's launch in late September.
