Blizzard needs your help as WoW Shadowlands is set to undergo a PTR Stress test today at 12p PDT.

The test will run again at 7p PDT, so if you missed the first time slot, don’t worry. The test will take place on Anasterian and Benedictus PTR realms. The test will stress some server updates made to Shadowlands on the back-end.

As Blizzard notes, you’ll have to log into Anasterian and Benedictus PTR realms and create a character. Once you’ve create a character, simply play the game. It’s pretty straightforward. The data gathering portion of the test will last roughly 20-30 minutes according to Blizzard.

Blizzard also recommends creating a character copy ahead of time due to the high load placed on the servers during the test period. Because it’s a stress test, expect crashes and disconnects. If this happens, simply try to re-enter the game.

You can check out the full post detailing the stress test over on Blizzard’s forums here. And in case you missed it, Shadowlands beta character wipes are incoming this week.
