Continue your World of Warcraft Classic Season of Discovery journey soon, when phase 3 opens on April 4th. Expect new secrets to uncover, new runes, new 20-player raid dungeon and more.

Phase 3 will go live at 1:00 PM PDT on the 4th, with “at least” six new runes per class to discover, along with two new gear slots –helm and bracers– to equip tem. Get yours by solving all new puzzles, completing quests, and of course, uncovering new secrets for this phase.  Previous phases have seen some of the most dedicated players discover all of the runes, abilities, and more at a rapid pace, and there’s no reason to think it won’t happen again.

Also debuting in the next update is a new outdoor PvE event, Nightmare Incursions. This sends you into the Emerald Nightmare through mysterious portals appearing in four locations. If you play through the storyline, you'll discover the tie between these portals and the new Sunken Temple raid dungeon.  you can choose to participate in this PVE event at any time during your journey, so it doesn't matter if you are still leveling your character or if you have already reached max level.

Speaking of that new 20 player raid dungeon, Sunken Temple Features eight bosses, discoveries to be made, since this is the Season of Discovery after all, and an overall redesigned experience with new rewards, and story to play through about the tension between the trolls and the dragons. There are new class quest rewards and other rewards to earn. Also in this update are the returning Blackrock Depths, Maraudon, and Zul’Farrak dungeons, with refreshed max level loot.

For the PvPers, this update will increase ranks from 5 to 7 and present a series of new rewards, including PvP class sets with dozens of items. New rewards for The Blood Moon rewards also arrive. More details are available in the date announcement, but expect the full breakdown when the update notes are out.

If you need to catch up, WoW Classic has your back with the Discoverer’s Delight XP buff, which doubles earned XP through level 39, and, in Phase 3, boosts it by +50% from 40-59. The way the bonuses are set up, you could even begin now and catch up into Phase 3.
