There have been rumors circulating about World of Warcraft Classic Plus for quite some time now, but given a new survey that was released, we could see the new addition making its way to the players.
The survey in question was posted via X and showcases a “mix of features” that could be included in a new version of World of Warcraft Classic. Though we aren’t quite sure what that new version could be, the features listed could be very telling. The rumored features include things like new or unexplored storylines, new reputations and rewards to earn, new or reimagined Raids and Dungeons, as well as a Guild bank.

The comments on the post are a bit of a mixed bag, as some fans claim they would be excited for a WoW Classic + while others say that the devs should keep their focus on the project already in front of them. While some screenshots show that this is merely a survey asking players if they believe this would bring more players to the title, it does raise a few eyebrows as to what they could be eluding to.
A video from YouTuber WillE discusses that if this does happen, it will bring features from Retail, which could, in turn, make current players quit the title. Flying mounts are one of the points of contention here, as one player states that it wouldn’t even work with the current terrain, nor would it add to the Classic feel that fans look forward to. Some even recommend just adding more flight masters if travel is such an issue rather than implementing flying and taking away from the vast world they have come to know and love.
The biggest concern is that the survey appears to be trying to make Classic feel more like retail according to some fans, and this would take away from the hardcore feel and enticing old ways that brought these players back in the first place. Only time will tell as to if World of Warcraft Classic Plus will become a thing, but for now, these are all rumors and speculation based on the survey posted.
