World of Warcraft’s 20th anniversary update notes are here, and it’s a great way to prepare for some of the events, new Dracthyr classes, gifts, events, cosmetic sets, Timewalking, and much more to enjoy--and rewards to earn--when the event starts on October 22nd.

The celebration runs through January 6, 2025. This being Wow’s 20th anniversary,  it's no surprise that Blizzard is going big for the occasion.

The Blackrock Depths raid will be available for the nostalgia and loot. Chromie will return to offer classic Timewalking dungeons, which will now scale enemies to your level. Tier 2 transmog sets return, now with new offerings to include all 13 classes. Take on some world bosses, like Archavon the Stonewatcher and the Sha of Anger, and even jump into PvP action in Korrak’s Revenge.

The celebration of 20 years of WoW will also include special Trading Post items, including Warcraft III back items to mark 30 years of the franchise. Last year’s class set transmogs also return.

Six new classes arrive for Dracthyr characters–Hunter, Mage, Priest, Rogue, Warlock, and Warrior. With the new classes, you can choose to right as a Dracthyr, in Visage form, or by toggling Chosen Identity, which Automatically switches you between forms when in and out of combat. Evokers will still use Dracthyr form in combat. Another new addition is the Squadron Skyriding talent for Dracthyr. This will let three of you fly in formation through the skies.

The celebration is so big that you'll have to peruse the full notes to see every detail of the rewards, the activities, and even more in the patch like balance changes and other adjustments or fixes. Get all the details if you want to prepare and plan out your celebratory itinerary and plan to earn Bronze Celebration Tokens to spend on goodies.
