World of Warcraft's Fractures in Time update is bound to bring players back to the MMORPG, a Blizzard is ensuring those returning to Azeroth have a nice welcome package waiting for them.

Fractures in Time released yesterday, bringing more story, new Dracthyr Evoker specializations, a Mythic-only dungeon, and more to the venerable MMORPG, and as such there are players who have been away from Azeroth who will be returning. Blizzard dropped details on a Welcome Back Gift on the official website today, available for anyone players level 10-60 who have been gone for the last 60 days.

"To help players get back into the action in Azeroth, we’re providing any characters level 10-60 who have not been logged into the game for 60 days with a special Welcome Back Gift. Players will also have the option to clear their quests from their log and begin with a clean slate. To continue your leveling journey, you’ll be able to speak with Chromie in the Orgrimmar Embassy or Stormwind Embassy to choose your path. Players who are in the midst of Shadowlands or Battle for Azeroth campaigns won’t be able to clear their quests, however."

The gift package itself includes the ability to spec into the specialization for their character and receive "gear appropriate for that specialization and character level." Players will also note that their Talents will be reset to the Starter Build so you can respec those as well based on the current meta should you choose.

Since the package will be presented to players on the login screen, you'll be accepting the gift before you even log into your character. Once you've accepted, the character will be logged into the MMO and ported directly to the Chromie's location, Orgrimmar Embassy for Horde, and Stormwind Embassy for the Alliance. From there you'll continue your journey , assuming you're still trudging through Battle for Azeroth or Shadowlandsor start with a clean slate should you choose to do so in Dragonflight.
