World of Warcraft to Get Discounted Multi-Character Transfer Bundles

In response to some community requests, World of Warcraft Community Manager Kaivax  confirmed that Blizzard is working to bring some new character transfer bundle options.

Since World of Warcraft has been live for a couple of decades now, there are many reasons why someone might want to transfer characters from one realm to another. Maybe your old guild disappeared. Maybe you leveled and geared up and want a good PvP server to flex on. Regardless of when you started playing, it may be time for a change without losing all of your work and progress.

Yet, to have to buy these transfers individually in order to move several of, or even all, your characters can really add up at $25 each. Losing that much progress and gear is not an option. Some players have been requesting an option for bulk transfers at a discount. This is now confirmed in the works, though there's not much info yet as to the details.

"I can confirm that we intend to offer bundles of realm-to-realm character transfers for a discounted total price in a future update to World of Warcraft and the in-game Shop. This new offering will allow players to select multiple characters that are on the same account and move them all to a destination realm in one purchase.

We don’t have the final sizes, pricing, and date these new bundles will become available just yet, but we’ll let you know all of that as soon as possible."

Even without too much detail known yet, a successful system already exists, so it's an encouraging sign. So if you're a WoW player that has been looking for a new server home, joined a new guild, or just want to move to one that's more populated or fits your play style better, help is on the way.
