COVID-19 continues to devastate as it takes another member from the gaming community. Jarod Nandin, the World of Warcraft cosplayer who portrayed The Griefer from South Park’s Make Love Not Warcraft episode, passed away recently from COVID complications.
Fans may know Jarod Nandin from BlizzCon 2013 when he expertly portrayed The Griefer character. His t-shirt, classes, keyboard, detritus on his desk, and more were on full display. He even shaved his head to convey the balding Griefer. You can catch the epic moment below:
Jarod had even previously tweeted on December 19 that his condition was appearing to improve. Sadly, soon after, he passed away.
Wasn’t sure I was gonna worry you guys but things are now looking good. Went to the ER yesterday for chest pains. They suspect I have covid. Test results not in yet. Feeling better after treatments. Again, things look good so don’t fret. Will keep you all posted. pic.twitter.com/T7x6VFtqbC

Some fans in their replies are requesting Jarod be memorialized in the game through an NPC. We here at MMORPG.com send our heartfelt condolences to Jarod’s family, and to all those touched in the community by his presence over the years.
