Blizzard posted a short preview along with an accompanying “Survival Guide” for World of Warcraft: Shadowlands Season 1. Players will be introduced to a new affix, new PvP gear, a new Castle Nathria raid, and more.

Are you ready for some raiding? Castle Nathria will go live tomorrow with normal and heroic difficulties, with additional Raid Finder Wings throughout early next year. You can see the raid unlock schedule below:

December 8 – Normal and Heroic DifficultiesDecember 15 – Mythic and Raid Finder Wing 1 (Huntsman Altimor, Hungering Destroyer, Lady Inerva Darkvein)January 5 – Raid Finder Wing 2 (Sun King’s Salvation, Artificer Xy’mox, The Council of Blood)January 19 – Raid Finder Wing 3 (Shriekwing, Sludgefist, Stone Legion Generals)February 2 – Raid Finder Wing 4 (Sire Denathrius)

Mythic Keystone Dungeons will also receive their first seasonal affix for Shadowlands known as Prideful. The affix builds while defeating non-boss enemies, and eventually forms a Manifestation that, upon defeating, will provide a substantial buff for your team.

You can also earn Honor and Conquest currencies to purchase and upgrade epic-quality gear from PvP vendors within Enclave and Oribos. The highest rated players can earn new rewards like the Vicious War Spder and the Sinful Gladiator’s Soul Eater mount. Completing Season 1 activities will also allow players to select rewards from the Great Vault, with up to nine different reward options. Check out all the information on the official website.
