If you weren't logged into World of Warcraft when the content switch was flipped on, you might be waiting for a bit as players are reporting issues trying to get into the recently released World of Warcraft expansion.
World of Warcraft: Shadowlands technically went live about 50 minutes ago, and while many players were logged int and waiting in their Alliance's respective starting zones to access the questline once the switch was flipped, others have been trying to log in with no luck. Users have taken to Twitter to show what their seeing as they try to enter the Shadowlands.

Log in issues with a massive MMO launch, expansion or otherwise, are nothing new to fans of the genre. It's still frustrating to see, but unfortunately it's part of any launch, especially one where the workforce is mostly at home launching this game.

Good news is once you're in Shadowlands you'll be able to start your adventure, exploring WoW's 8th expansion overall sending players beyond the veil after Sylvanas Windrunner...assuming you can interact with the quest giver around all the people eager to play. It's also important to note that Shadowlands' launch also coincides with the original launch date of the MMO that shook up the genre 16 years ago.
