Get your friends together and face off against the Old God, C’thun in Ahn’Qiraj as well as the Dragons of Nightmare in the Nightmare Grove and tons more when World of Warcraft Season of Discovery Phase 6 goes live on November 21.
The journey begins on November 12 with the Scepter of the Shifting Sands quest line that will go live with the regional reset. Completing this quest grants players the Scepter of the Sands, which can be used to ring a gong on their realm between December 4 and December 6. Doing so will award the player with a Black Qiraji Resonating Crystal, which summons a ridable Qiraji battle tank when used. This mount can be used both in the open world and within the Temple of Ahn’Qiraj.
Later, on November 21 at 1PM PST, the official War Effort will begin and will then conclude on November 29. Players who participate in the War Effort can turn in supplies for rewards including Alliance or Horde Commendation Signets.
From there, a war marking the arrival of Anubisath and qiraji warriors will begin on December 4. Fighting back against the hordes should be a great source of experience, gold, and reputation with the Brood of Nozdormu.
And this all leads into the opening of the Temple of Ahn’Qiraj, Ruins of Ahn’Qiraj, and Nightmare Grove on December 6. For more details, read the full blog update.
