World of Warcraft is gearing up for its major content update for Shadowlands, called Chains of Domination, and today it decided to just drop the content notes to dissect ahead of time. Launching on June 29th, WoW's 9.1 update will include a new zone, dungeon, raid as well as the normal balance tweaks major patches come with.
The upcoming Chains of Domination content will bring Korthia, a new zone to Shadowlands, as well as the Sanctum of Domination Raid. Players will be exploring Korthia to discover the plans of the Jailer as well as Sylvannas, as the covenants of Shadowlands push back against the two.
"As part of his ongoing schemes, the Jailer has located a long-lost domain of the Shadowlands—Korthia, the City of Secrets—and dragged it from the hidden byways of the In-Between into the Maw. In this new area, you’ll team up with the covenants under a unified banner to fight against the endless forces of the Jailer, and work to uncover what obscurities he seeks in this forgotten realm. "
In addition to the new raid, Tazavesh, the Veiled Market will also be coming with 9.1, bringing the new eight-boss dungeon to World of Warcraft. Additionally, players will be able to unlock flying as part of the story progression and more.
The next major update for World of Warcraft hits on June 29th, and in addition to all the new content, Blizzard is doing its normal balance tweaking to iron out kinks and address issues that have cropped up over the course of previous updates. This includes tweaks to the Druid's Well-Honed Instincts cooldown, as well as a reduction on the Demon Hunter's Unbound Chaos talent (500%, down from 600% increase).
