World of Warcraft is celebrating its 19th anniversary. Expect anniversary gifts, special daily event quests, several new historians, and additional discoveries along with new and returning items to collect.
If you log in during this time you'll earn the 19th anniversary achievement, along with an anniversary gift package containing 200 Timewarped Badges, the event currency. The gift also includes an event quest invitation, and it even comes along with the Lil’ Frostwing pet. This is just for logging into the game during the anniversary.
When you accept the invitation and start the event quest, you'll find Chromie in the Caverns of Time, where you’ll get even more gifts, including a firework and a package that increases XP and reputation gains by, what else, 19%.
There are new Historians this time around, and you will be able to view more past cinematics all the way from classic World of Warcraft up through Dragonflight. As with previous anniversary celebrations, you'll be able to take on a daily event quest that will let you earn additional badges by answering WoW trivia or by defeating some familiar mobs. With the arrival of new historians, there are even some new trivia questions on the daily quest, “A Time to Reflect”.
There are goodies to collect by exchanging Timewarped Badges, including a Celebration Package, Corgi Pet, and a series of Celebration wands to put a costume on a targeted party member. Turn your friends into Murlocs today.
Do some Timewalking to take on the Doomwalker, participate in the Korrak’s Revenge Battleground, and join the party in the Caverns of Time to just kick back and celebrate.
