The schedule extends into September and includes:

  • Sat, Aug 22, 2020 2:00 AM CDT - AWC BFA Circuit Week 1
  • Sat, Aug 29, 2020 2:00 AM CDT - AWC BFA Circuit Week 2
  • Sat, Sep 5, 2020 2:00 AM CDT - AWC BFA Circuit Week 3
  • Sat, Sep 12, 2020 12:00 PM CDT - AWC BFA Circuit Week 4
  • Sat, Sep 26, 2020 12:00 PM CDT - AWC BFA Finals - Europe
  • Sun, Sep 27, 2020 12:00 PM CDT - AWC BFA Finals - North America

As for the Arena World Championships themselves, the prize pool is $500,000 and includes competition from eight teams from the Americas, Europe, and Asia. In recent news, Blizzard actually addressed the griefing taking place in WoW Classic over the Scarab Lord,

“It’s important to note that the key factor here is the presence or absence of a PvP solution. Players who are doing the quest cannot stop same-faction players (or a Normal realm, any players) from running into a boss that has a mechanic that amplifies the boss from that behavior.”
