The third month of World of Warcraft’s Trading Post is now open, and in April, the refreshed reward lineup includes some a new pet and mount, some new gear customization items and some new shiny Transmogs.
The Trading Post has now been running for two months, and we can begin to see some consistency in the offerings. A pet and a mount are usually in the lineup, some cosmetics for the head, hand, and some weapons to collect. This month’s new pet is the Egbob, a not quite fully hatched little creature. The April mount is Reigns of the Magenta Cloud Serpent, which joins the list of colorful mounts you can collect.
As for those set pieces to show off, there are some Fine White Evening Gloves if you're feeling fancy, the Drape of Foreboding Mists if you need a new cape, or a Red Pith Helmet. If you've been looking for some offhand items, maybe some tomes are your thing. Or a flare. The Forsaken Cresset and Watchman’s Flare are available for 100 of your Trader’sTender.
On the weapons front, maybe the Crimson Nexus Crescent or the Honed Bastard Sword will work for the two-handed adventurers. There's the Fists of Polar Fury, a one-handed large icy fist too. The April bonus reward for filling the activity bar in the Traveler’s Log is the Arsenal: Blades of Elune, which is a one-handed sword transmog set.
Also in transmogs, the Ensemble: Corrupted Runelord’s Regalia will set you back 750 Trader’s Tender.
Overall, after a couple of months, the Trading Post is already showing some patterns, but there’s still a variety of options within those patterns. Additionally, with the option to freeze one item until you’ve saved up enough Trader’s Tender to unlock it, that reduces the chance of missing out and likely helps keep people interested in the feature. Some might consider that consistent patterns might feel stale after a while, but for collectors, that’s a good thing.
