Blizzard’s latest World of Warcraft collaboration is sure to make your commute at least slightly more enjoyable. Waze and Blizzard have collaborated to bring World of Warcraft’s former warchief of the Horde, Thrall, to the service as its newest sidekick.
Promising to turn your drive into “an unforgettable adventure” WoW fans everywhere can now receive Thrall’s advice to “breathe – this is not the end of the world” when encountering things like heavy traffic. Thrall will even add a measure of excitement and intrigue to the mundanity of suggesting a U turn by describing them as “a clever strategy to fool and pursuers on our tail.”
The World of Warcraft Waze sidekick features two moods, the “Horde” mood which displays a miniature Thrall and an “Alliance” mood which is marked by a warrior in blue and gold armor. Fans can also select the Red Drake as their vehicle.
Waze is no stranger to pop culture collabs, some of the more notable include a collaboration for Halo Infinite’s launch featuring the series’ iconic hero Master Chief, Batman, and even movie stars such as Arnold Schwarzenegger.
The World of Warcraft x Waze collaboration is available globally, though voice navigation is only offered in English.
