World of Warcraft 10.2, Guardians of the Dream, will be out the week of November 7th, following BlizzCon the previous weekend. Dragonflight Season 3 will begin on November 14th.
The narrative continues and the danger hasn’t abated, as Primal Incarnate, Fyrakk, moves to to absorb the power of the new world tree, storming the Emerald Dream on his way to complete his plans. Unless you stop him, since the champions of Azeroth and the Dragonflights will unite to stand against him.
Given all that, The Emerald Dream is the new zone, And there will be places to explore, new quests, new NPCs to meet, public objectives, and more to discover. With the new zone, there's a brand new public event, The Superbloom. Here, you’ll help the ancient Sprucecrown tend to the new world tree in order to protect and nurture it. This is a multi-tier public event, with more details coming on Thursday, but Blizzard did drop a hint in the date announcement. “Grow Seeds to Saplings in New Public Events”.
Guardians of the Dream also introduces a new Renown track: The Dream Wardens. Complete activities to unlock rewards through this new track. In addition, there are a number of Dragonriding updates, including new race courses, new glyphs, abilities, and customizations, plus, a brand new dragon riding drake, the Faerie Dragon.
Dragonflight Season 3 will open on November 14th, with a brand new raid, Amirdrassil, The Dream’s Hope. In this raid, Fyrakk allies himself with the Druids of the Flame in his quest for power, and this alliance is reflected in the nine bosses in this raid, with Fyrakk himself also up for the challenging. Expect LFR Wing 1, Normal, Heroic, and Mythic on day one.
There’s also a new Mythic+ rotation to look forward to with the new season. Both wings of Dawn of the Infinite, Galakrond’s Fall and Murozond’s Rise, will be available in M+ for the first time. Four previous Mythic+ dungeons return to the rotation, with two each from Battle for Azeroth and Legion, with two other dungeons available in Mythic+ for the first time.
