It's time to celebrate in World of Tanks, which is marking its 12th anniversary this month. Beach party-themed anniversary events will of course let you take on special combat missions, earn rewards, and get the opportunity to get your hands on a new tank.

The event begins on August 12th and runs through August 22ns. The birthday gifts are for the players, so if you log onto the game any day through the event period you'll get a special 2D style called “Only Twelve". During the event you can also get up to 7 days of premium, with one day earned per log-in during the event period.

Rewards come from events that include daily anniversary battle missions that will grant 5 Anniversary Coins and large missions that will give you 20 Anniversary Coins in addition to all other loot. You’ll be able to trade your coins for different rewards, including bonds, crew members, premium account days, new styles are other customization, and more.

Start accessing anniversary missions when you click on the big object on the beach that has the number 12 on it or an anniversary pop-up. The daily anniversary missions are randomly drawn from a pool of 25 options. If you get a mission, you'll have to complete it on the same day you get it if you want the rewards. Every player will also get two Major anniversary missions. With the event lasting 10 days, each of these major missions will be available for 5 days only and you'll have to complete it within that time.

Of course, there isn't a party or an event without a brand new tank, and this entry is the Lago M/38, which is a Tier III rapid-firing Swedish tank. This new tank will be available to any player who completes three daily combat missions during the event time.

For details, head over to World of Tanks.
