World of Tanks is once again featuring Arnold Schwarzenegger in its holiday campaign, this time alongside actress Milla Jovovich. The two introduce the game’s 2022 event, which will bring festive decor to your garage, and lots of loot.
With a splashy intro video featuring both stars, Wargaming goes big once more, with the event rolling out across the whole World of Tanks universe. The Holiday Ops 2023 event will begin on December 1st at 3:20 PM PT and end on January 9th, giving everyone plenty of time to play and rack up some rewards.
First up, your garage will get festively decorated, and include an HQ with both of the guest stars (who will give missions) and zones that let you collect Resources, this year’s holiday currency. Several types of resources to collect, and invest in order to get the rewards you want. You will be able to get resources manually just by logging in and collecting some, completing daily missions, heading your dog friend Chaffee (you’ll get him by leveling up Festive Atmosphere), and much more.
You will have an opportunity to collect rewards from previous years, as well as this year's new rewards, which include new 2D styles from both of the actors, and decals also featuring both of them. There are 28 combat missions from Milla and once you’ve completed 27 of them, by taking on challenges in Tier IV vehicles or higher, you’ll unlock Milla as a commander.
Arnold returns with combat missions of his own, after you complete all of Milla’s, and similarly, you can get him as a commander unlock if you haven’t already.
There are a ton of features and ways to progress in this year’s Holiday Ops event. If you’ve already participated in previous years, you know what’s up. Yet, just being a World of Tanks player with the big regular events should prepare you too.
