ArenaNet has announced that the Guild Wars 2 World Championship will take place today, Saturday September 17th, beginning at 10 am Pacific / 1 pm Eastern. The event will take place in GW2 Twitch channel with teams vying for a portion of $200k prize pool. The Tournament will also be broadcast in French and German.
Tune in just before the Grand Finals for an in-depth first look at the Eternal Coliseum—the newest addition to the PvP map pool, coming to the Mists on September 20. The reveal will be followed by a friendly exhibition match featuring players from a variety of top-tier PvP teams.
Viewers will also get an opportunity to take part in giveaways for headsets, mice and graphic cards.
