Wolcen has shared some new closed alpha stats for its upcoming extrAction RPG “Project Pantheon”. In addition the team is also referring to an FAQ they shared recently giving us insight into testing, the monetization model, and more.
The recent closed Alpha 2 had more than 1,000 active players playing more than 1,500 sessions. Additionally, there were 2,063 extractions and $782 failed extractions with an average match time of 15 minutes. Total time in combat was 20 hours, with 143k mobs killed and over 500 players.
The team has released only these couple of stats, but they do give a snapshot of how things went and some details about what you can expect if the average match time is 15 minutes and successful extractions happened at a rate of just over 2.5 times the failed ones.

Wolcen also wanted to remind everyone that closed Alpha 3 is on the way as well, Which will offer additional opportunities for play testers to join in.
In the recently released FAQ, over on their Discord, once again they confirm that Project Pantheon will be a free to play game, set to release first on PC and eventually on Xbox and Playstation with cross-play.. The official game title will be revealed “soon”.
They also take the time to emphasize their “community-driven development" approach, saying “it means building this game with you, not just for you” And offering transparency and early play testing so that the community can have a real impact from the start.
