Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Reaches 5 Million Players Since Release

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty has reached the 5 million player mark worldwide, according to the game’s official X (Twitter) account.

The team wrote in Japanese (translated via Google):

“[#WoLong over 5 million players]

Thanks to you, the total number of players worldwide has exceeded 5 million.

Thank you to everyone who played.”

The Three Kingdoms-inspired dark fantasy action RPG recently launched a collaboration with Lies of P and previously had event collaborations with Nioh 2 and Naraka: Bladepoint. Launching initially as a day-one Game Pass release, there was little info before now on how many players have accepted the challenge the game offered. Game Pass presence had to lead to a good number of those players, but from the initial launch to the recently-released Complete Edition, it seems like many have ventured into what Wo Long is offering.

The Complete Edition contains the main game, all three DLC packs, and all of the collaboration DLCs released so far. That means, if you happened to miss those collaborations when they were originally released, you have a chance to play through them and collect any special items just by playing the Complete Edition on PC. Is a demo for this edition as well, in case you’re not ready to go all-in, but the team is also currently putting all of Wo Long’s content on sale separately if you own the base game and are missing any DLC.

Now that we know that Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty has reached over 5 million players since it was released about a year ago, it would not be surprising if they had plans to release even more collaboration content or DLC in the future.
