Wizard101’s new Selenopolis update gives Krokotopia a graphical overhaul, adds new quests, new tutorials, and the powerful new Spell Fusion feature.

Krokotopia is the next area to get a graphical update to modernize the look, sound, and feel of the area. This means that creatures and monsters have had visual overhauls and updated animations. Several areas have also temporarily opened up for access to free to play players with this update. Those are Cyclops Lane, Firecat Alley, and the Oasis.

In the city of Selenopolis, take on a series of new mainline quests that you can do as long as you complete the Dragonspyre storyline first. As part of these new quests, you'll find tutorials for Archmastery and the Magic Wheel. Selenopolis will be the hub for the new Magic Weaving feature (along with Blended Grove), so these quests will help you transition to the new content.

With the new feature,  you get to choose a second school to be your weaving School, which opens up the opportunity to earn rewards for unique types of school combinations. Once you start learning about Archmastery, the Magic Wheel, and Magic Weaving, new doors will open for you on your magical journey.

Spell Fusion is another important part of the update. This lets you combine cards to create brand new and powerful spells. You'll be able to learn Fusion formulas from trainers and continue to train in those new formulas to master them. Ultimately, you'll learn to use new fusions in combat.

The update also includes a number of quality of life updates, new Beastmoon forms, and a series of improvements and fixes.  With a console release coming, Kingsisle is packing in the new.
