Wizard101 has been teasing the arrival of the Wallaru update for a while now, and today marks the opening of the test realm. Check out the Guild Museum, which you can help to fill up, all the new spells to learn, and a number of other updates.

The Wallaru test realm opens up a new part of the Spiral to visit and explore the Outback. This is the final world of Wizard101's 4th story arc, so it’s a special release. The 5th story arc is a mystery for now! The Wallaru update, when it is finally launched, is going to be a big one. Explore the new zones and meet the residents, the newly-added koalas, kangaroos, wallabies, and wombats.

They inhabit these Outback towns that you can explore and visit and seek out the Dreaming. As you meet the local people, you can discover who they are and what their stories are. This also applies to how they get along with each other. Local factions may have tensions and conflicts that you might get the chance to help resolve.

Each school gets a new spell after the first half of Wallaru. Once you reach that point, you'll get a brand new school specific spell quest. All of the new spells are AoEs and meld with existing schools of magic to make them extra powerful.

Adventures here will be part of your journey through the Spiral. If you’re in a guild, you should work together to unlock Guild Island. Once you’ve done that, you can gain access to the new Guild Museum, which you can fill with memories of your adventures together.

Now that the test realm is finally open, a future patch to the test will  add new Beastmoon forms. The new forms–Fire Fairy, Myth Krokomummy, Life Rat Thief, Balance Elf, and Death Colossus–will be added in a future Test Realm patch. From December through April there will be Beastmoon events scheduled.

See the test realm notes at Wizard101.
