Blizzard is reminding everyone that the Mists of Pandaria Remix accelerated progression experience is almost over. There’s a list of everything you need to know if you want to continue playing when your character converts to a standard World of Warcraft character.
The special fast-progression Remix experience will end on August 19th and you have until August 20th at 7:00 a.m. PDT to make any last changes before your character converts to a standard character. Among the things you need to know is that the character conversion means that all items (yes, all that precious extra loot), all currencies except for gold, and all quests are set to be removed from every Timerunner’s possession and their banks. So if you have any Bronze to spend or any last minute activities to do, quests to finish, now is the time.
The conversion process requires that you log into your Timerunner character to start the process. Once complete, your new standard character will find themselves in Orgrimmar if tey’re Horde or in Stormwind if Alliance. Characters will keep their levels and will get specialization-appropriate 467 item level gear for level 70 characters. If your character is under 70, you'll get something more appropriate for their level. Expect four 30-slot bags and one 26-slot reagent bag.
Your items and quests and most currencies will disappear, but you do get to keep your gold, and once your character converts, you'll also get a special Timerunner’s Parting Pack. This pack is designed to get you up and running for The War Within, and also contains some gold that scales with your character level.
The War Within early access is set to begin on August 22, with full launch on August 26th.
