Winter Events Arrive In Our Favorite MMOs - Part 4

In case the holiday decor at your local shopping center hasn't already caught your eye surely the festivities in your favorite MMORPGs should! Over the next few weeks we will be posting information about holiday events in a wide range of MMOs. Find your favorite and have fun!

WEBZEN Game Portal - December 8 through December 29.

Each WEBZEN game title will be running Holiday events for players. In addition, the game portal itself is kicking off an attendance event check where players need to log in to the site daily to receive event coins that can be exchanged for in-game items and gifts.

LineAge 2: Infinite Odyssey - December 9 to January 13 - Reel-In The Holidays.

Santa Claus will be available in town to provide a Holiday Blessing and the Christmas Bait Box. You can get the Blessing and Bait Box once a day during the event period. Monsters will drop Santa's Small Gift Boxes and you can fish for Fish Gift Boxes.

Neverwinter - The Winter Festival of Simril.

This holiday features some new activities, too. Collect blacklead to help create a duergar demon sled. Recruit some much-needed assistance for your stronghold from the Mantol-Derith refugees. Exchange gift parcels for new rewards, including a new artifact: the Beacon of Simril, which can be upgraded through partaking in the winter festivities and engaging in Simril Lightcrafting.

Rift - through January 7 - Fae Yule Wonder.

Nothing is more welcome in the cold winter months than a Fire Rift. They will warm your heart like nothing else. But these bright accents to the landscape come with a fiery danger, Hellbugs. While many people spend a fortune to erradicate these alien pests, I have a more festive tactic. I’ve knitted a Fae Yule cap for each and every burning, bacteriological invader in the spirit of seasonal cheer. The Hellbugs may still try to bite your face off, but they’ll be smiling and humming a jolly Fae Yule tune while they do. Sometimes I really outdo myself. Seasons greetings everyone!
