Gameforge has announced that the v4.8 "Wind of Fate" update has been applied to all EU language variants of Aion. Players will find a world drastically altered since last logging into the game, particularly in Katalam, Sarpan and Tiamaranta. At the same time, two new zones, Vengar and Signia, have risen out of the sea.
Vengar and Signia, share a new world
The grand invasion and Beritra’s thirst for power had consequences for all of Atreia. The destruction of the lost continent’s seal generated a tremor that then broke open the surrounding land masses. Sarpan, Tiamaranta and also parts of Katalam sank into the depths of the sea and a new continent rose out. Surviving Daeva daringly ventured into this strange land and set up outposts in order to start their research. The Elyos settled in the west and pitched their tents in Signia. The Asmodians moved to the eastern territories, known as Vengar. Both regions act as designated PvP zones for high-levelled characters.
