Will Smed's Hero's Song Be Revived by Amazon?

It appears that Amazon not only picked up John Smedley, but also most of the team from Pixelmage Games, the studio that recently folded after funding of Hero's Song didn't pan out. In a new blog, Amazon posted a photo of Smedley and the team members that are working on what is called "an ambitious new project" and many of the faces are familiar ones from Pixelmage days.

While we do not yet know what Smedley et al are working on, we wonder if it could be a reimagining of Hero's Song that will take advantage of AWS and Lumberyard to create a more visually appealing game. If so, and given that its core game play seemed quite solid, it certainly seems a possibility. And in fairness to the PR description of "an ambitious new project", it would be a new game in the Amazon portfolio, right?
