Wild Terra 2 got a massive update yesterday that gave Shrine and Exploration of Elion a huge overhaul, and with that announcement came the news that there is a Free-to-Play weekend in the works.
Spotted first by MMOFallout, starting today, anyone who would like to join in on the fun of Wild Terra 2 is free to do so – literally completely free. More so, the open-world survival craft game will be 75% off for anyone who would like to continue their journey after the weekend concludes.
The update brought several changes, including the ability to build shrines on territory within your dominion. These shrines will grant effects for a short duration with global bonuses, Pilgrimage access, and more. There are also newly added mechanics that allow the devs to add events, points of interest, and even puzzles to the game in future updates.
Two new pets have been added, including the Biased Chicken and the Restless Skeleton, as well as new items that are associated with certain quests. There is a new event on the Starting Island titled “Wandering Ghost” and Immortal Golem. There is no information on what to expect from these two new events at this time, but with the free-to-play weekend, it will be easy to test the waters and see what they are all about.
