Today's Daily Quest is one I expect we'll see a lot of the same answers for, but I'll ask it anyway. If you could pick any MMO, live or canceled, which one would you see remade for today and how would you change it?
I'm actually torn on this one, myself. The obvious choice is City of Heroes. The superhero MMORPG is one that could be done so miraculously well with today's technology. More modern graphics, more interesting combat, a more robust user-generated content system. I would love to see something built in Unreal but made with Paragon Studios' (and Cryptic before that) unabashed fearlessness in design. the CoH (and CoV) teams marched to their own drummer, and we're still missing a true successor even with other bigger licensed MMOs still on the market.
But I'll stop there. What MMO, even one that's still running today, would you like to see get a do-over, and how would you change it if it happened?
