"Ocho" from the Rift Community Team has posted on the game's official forums in response to players who are concerned about its future longevity. Ocho challenges the notion of doom by revealing that the team is growing, the population is strong and that there are concrete plans for the future.
Beyond that, Ocho writes to that reusing content is not a bad thing as long as it runs alongside new content development. Guild populations ebb and flow and that people speculating about low populations are participating in guesswork, not fact.
