Meet the pirates you’ll be aiming for in this new preview as The Elder Scrolls Online previews more content from High Isle when it’s out next month, the new 12-person Trial, Dreadsail Reef.

In the preview of the new Trial, we get a taste of the setting, and the Dreadsail pirate band that has been threatening the people of High Isle and even mainland Tamriel for a long time. Now we're able to find their harbor and the Breton flotilla is now selling to Dreadsail Reef to end the threat. “Dreadsail Reef is the island home of the Dreadsail pirates and their cunning Fleet Queen Taleria,” according to Encounters Lead Mike Finnigan. Those pirates are responsible for attacking, raiding, terrorizing, and patrolling around the isles and throwing their weight around.

Of course, this is now where you come in with a plan to invade, storm the beach, get into the pirate city and capture the Fleet Queen. This Trial uses the setting, its water and the sea location nearby, as well as exploring the Maormer a little more to craft the encounters. The team aimed to make this one really reliant on teamwork from the start, so group coordination is not just a desirable goal, it’s going to get you collectively across the finish line.

The Pirate Queen Taleria has a lot of tricks up her sleeve, and the challenge and the queen might be bigger than you expect. But if you do succeed, you've just taken out some serious pirates so of course you should expect a lot of treasure and loot to walk away with. some of these rewards include the Stormsurge Howler mount, Stormsurge face and body markings, gold, and other collectibles. You can also nab the Swashbuckler Supreme title (if you complete all of the Trial’s achievements). The bosses will also have exclusive set pieces, including the new Pearlescent Ward heavy set.
