The news from Webzen, the massive Korean publisher of MMORPGs, continues to flow. Today they announce a bevy of industry hirings to bolster their line-up that already includes famed composer Howard Shore. Webzen is currently the publisher of MU, and in production on Huxley, Parfait Station, Wiki, All Points Bulletin and SUN.

Online Games Company Announces New General Manager and Heads of Marketing and Corporate Communications

LOS ANGELES – May 10, 2005 – WEBZEN America, Inc., the wholly owned subsidiary of global online entertainment leader, WEBZEN, Inc. (NASDAQ: WZEN), announced today that it has filled several key executive positions for its new U.S. operation. Junhyun Kim has been named the company’s general manager, Peter Matiss joins as the head of marketing and Jason Wonacott as the head of corporate communications.
