Wayfinder is getting some important quality of life adjustments in the largest patch since the Echoes relaunch. These come ahead of the 1.0 update  later in the year.

This upcoming patch is definitely concentrated on improvements and polish and will be out sometime this month. The team is setting expectations by noting that there won't be any new playable content in this update, but it is a large update because there are a ton of improvements, including some stuff that the team is adding based on player feedback since the relaunch.

One of those requested features that is coming in this patch is a server browser. This will let you search for a server using various criteria. With the relaunch, Wayfinder is a buy once game that can be enjoyed offline and solo, but still retains that online co-op option. They just didn't include an easy way to jump in to an organized or even a random match and now it's on the way.

Also coming in the update are a series of combat and movement improvements, including a more stable and responsive experience when players are in the air. this should help you have a more successful time on jumping puzzles and other challenges. also expect smart targeting of enemies, improved camera when you lock on a target, and additional tweaks that should lead to a smoother player experience.

Some loot and progression changes are on the way. One of the most helpful is that you will be able to see what resources will be available on any expedition, so you can decide which ones are worth your time to maximize your farming. The armor loot pool will also become additive. If you've gotten everything in the area you're adventuring in, when you get a drop you'll start getting lower tier gear pieces that you’re missing from any zones you've already been to.

There are a number of options and settings including extended  hotkey remapping, adjustable camera distance on controller, FOV slider, and additional settings that will Target both performance and accessibility.

These are some of the updates coming in the next patch, but the team promises more of these quality of life updates and polish are on the way.
