Wayfinder got its latest update late last week, with a slew of gameplay and performance improvements. After the update, the Airship Syndicate team has worked to address several errors, including a slight rollback amid reports of data loss.
The recent patch used a number of UI updates that improved the character menu, streamlined sub menu tabs into a grid under the gear slots, and made information on stats and loadouts clearer in a more organized system. This was just one of the changes, as the inventory screen has also gotten some changes, with a new visual style and easier to see info on items, including rarity, populated Echo Slots, and power level. Accessories and crafting them also got easier, with improved crafting tech for imbuements.
Wayfinder has also enabled fast travel in the form of discovering Signal Fires around the world and being able to travel to any one in any zone just by clicking a button. These improvements joined a series of balance changes, including to how damage reduction works, and a number of weapon and loot changes.
Masteries were not working properly, and there was another issue with the player store that popped up back on Friday. Several items that were not intended to go on sale yet were mistakenly added for sale at very high prices. The team disabled the store to fix the problem. They also put the client into maintenance mode to address a more significant issue, namely missing player items.
