There’s a new season in Ankama Games’ tactical deckbuilding RPG, Waven, and there are new features, the arrival of the Astramantis hero for all players, and more to explore and investigate.
The Whisperer Season has arrived, and the Whisperers are a group of warriors. They are small but they are going to be invaluable help for your heroes. Access their help via a brand new time portal that lets these small armored warriors through and gain an advantage against the Bonta Guard. Their “Reinforcements” mechanic is going to come in very handy in battle here. You play as a horde of these Whisperers, who are small, but mighty, and they always work in groups.
The Whisperers are in Waven now through February 13th. The update also brings the Astramantis hero, a lance-wielding Iop class warrior, to all in free access. Previously available as a sneak peek during the Albuera Season, you can now create one directly in the character creation menu and play as one of these powerful warriors. Their specialty is the “Mantis Leap” passive that lets you catapult yourself into the middle of the battle. To celebrate the arrival of these new warriors, Ankama collaborated with Radiant manga author Tony Valente, for a new skin available in the shop.
With a new season come new season passes, and there are both new Gold and Platinum level passes with rewards related to the Whisperers. These include emotes, season tickets for more access to fight the Bontarians, Whisperer emotes, gems, new visual effects, and a Whisperer pet of your own.
