Wasteland is set to receive its first narrative expansion, called The Battle of Steeltown, when it releases next month on June 3.
The expansion will release on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation systems. In the expansion, you’ll be able to travel through the Steeldown manufacturing complex. The expansion brings with it several new quests, new robotic enemies, and more.
As with the base Wasteland 3 game, tactical combat is the backbone of the Battle of Steeltown expansion. Look forward to telegraphed attacks, stacked status effects, elemental shields, non-lethal weapons, and more. Additionally, the expansion brings new enemies, new weapons, new armor, and new world map encounters.
If you’re interested in picking it up, The Battle of Steeltown will be priced at $13.99 on Steam, GOG, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 on June 3. If you’re subscribed to Xbox Game Pass and decided to outright buy the expansion, you can do so at a 10% discount. The expansion will release soon after the team pushes out Patch 1.4.0.
