It’s time to say goodbye to Warhaven. Nexon’s medieval fantasy combat game will shut down today after just six months in Early Access.
Nexon announced the closure back in January, just four months after launch. This announcement was surprising, given the short Early Access period, subsequent updates and additions, like new maps and new soldiers. In fact, Warhaven got a major update in January, less than two weeks before the shutdown was announced. That update added a new map, The Hangar, added a new 12v12 mass Reclamation mode, events, and more.
In January, the team said: “Today, we are here to announce with a heavy heart that we will be concluding the live services of Warhaven. From the 1st alpha test in 2021 to the global early access in 2023, Warhaven has come this far, thanks to everyone's love and support.”
Today, on the day of the shutdown, which is set to happen at 11pm PDT, the Warhaven team is saying goodbye with another new social post:
"Let all wars end and all soldiers find salvation as their souls rest in Warhaven."As our journey draws to a close, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you who fought alongside us.?????????End of Service: 4/4 (Thu) 11:00 PM PDT pic.twitter.com/no4APBPQcO

Still, it was clear that there was more planned for the game, given the massive January update, and the addition of another new soldier, Hatchet, in February. He came along with candy-themed weapon skins and a Valentine’s Day event. The team had already started winding down the game, the cosmetic weapons were all available for 0WP, letting those around for the final two months have some more fun.
