Fatshark has announced that PC players on Steam and XBox One players can check out Warhammer: Vermintide 2 for free from August 30th to September 3rd. PC players will be able to enjoy the full game as well as the Shadows Over Bogenhafen DLC if lucky enough to be invited to join someone who owns it. XBox One players will be able to check out the main game as well, though not the DLC.
For those who choose to purchase Warhammer: Vermintide 2 during the weekend event can do so for 50% off.
Vermintide 2 is a visually stunning and groundbreaking melee action game pushing the boundaries of the first person co-op genre. Set during the apocalyptic End Times of the Warhammer world – the game introduces the dark, bloody and twisted forces of Chaos as an enemy faction. Other new features include 15 hero careers, new environments, talent trees and the proprietary Heroic Deeds System.
