Warhammer: Skulls 2024 featureda series of announcements for a number of Warhammer titles, including from Fatshark about Vermintide 2 and Darktide, new trailers for Space Marine 2, the first ever Rogue Trader DLC, and more.
Fatshark announced Warhammer 40,000: Darktide - Secrets of the Machine God, the next big update for the game. Coming out on June 24th on PC and Xbox. The new update will include a new mission that takes you aboard a Mechanicus research station in Atelium Foundryplex Omega V. Featuring in the update our new weapons, including the Bolt Pistol, some Ogryn Pickaxes, Shockmauls and a new shotgun.
Darktide will also launch “Hestia's Decollation Crusade”, a new in-game event pilot where you can earn rewards by destroying the heads of heretics coming in swarms to earn reward currency.
Vermintide 2 is getting a number of quality of life updates, an in-game event, and the next alpha test for Versus mode. Quality of life updates in the Winds of Magic update include a new loadout system, updates for Chaos Wastes, bug fixes, and a few feature improvements. Weekly expeditions are on the way, Chest of Trials will get some updates, and there are 30 new Boons.
The Skulls for the Skull Throne event begins today. You can earn some limited rewards from now through June 9th on all platforms. Finally, the next alpha test for Versus mode on PC is May 30th to June 9th. You'll be able to test out the first playable boss, the Bile Troll, in this alpha.
Space Marine 2 gets two new trailers showing off new PvP and PvE modes. The team has also opened preorders. Rogue Trader’s first DLC, Void Shadows, is coming August 8th. For Warhammer fans who love immersing themselves in the chaos, there’s a lot on the table over the next few months.
