There are rumors circulating around right now that make it sounds as though Climax might still be working on the Warhammer Online product behind closed doors. The following news item was spotted on PC ZONE:
| 10:02 MMORPG Warhammer Online, previously assumed cancelled, is not actually dead and buried, Climax confirming with us today that the game is still in development at the studio. News about the cancellation of the massively multiplayer online RPG based on Games Workshop's tabletop game hit in June this year, but Climax CEO Karl Jeffrey has now revealed that the company hopes to launch the title in around 18 months time. Games Workshop isn't backing the game financially, reportedly, but the Nottingham-based company is still lending support to development. |
