Warhammer 40k Space Marine 2 will be out on September 9th, and the team is showcasing both PVE and PVP multiplayer gameplay in a brand new video.

The team has released several videos highlighting gameplay, weapons, and more. Space Marine 2 was at Warhammer Skulls back in May, where the two modes highlighted today were initially revealed. This newest video offers seven minutes of gameplay for the PVE Operations and for the Eternal War PVP mode. Both of these modes were revealed at the May event and now we get to see an extended look at both.

It takes some teamwork to take down a Carnifex, and we get to see the tough moments on the way to reaching goals, including the formidable beast. But that's not even the limit to the brutal combat and solid teamwork we get to witness in the new gameplay video. At around 4 minutes 30 seconds, we change over to the capture and control gameplay of Eternal War. Plenty of ways to use your environment, from walls to verticality.

Whether you choose to play together and take on a  PVE Operation or choose Eternal War  and battle for glory, you'll start by picking one of the six playable classes. Those classes are Assault, Bulwark, Heavy, Tactical, and Vanguard. As you play, you'll earn Armoury data and Requisition Points you can use to customize your Space Marine’s appearance.

On top of all the action, the game is also highlighting customization and options, including the ability to unlock the game’s Chapter presets, create your custom Chapters through using individual cosmetic items, and of course earning more cosmetics. Keep playing in these modes and earn more cosmetics to open up all kinds of options.

When the game launches on September 9th, Space Marine 2 will get new operations missions, PVP maps, new enemies, and even more weapons in regular updates. A season pass wil let you earn more cosmetics and special Chapter heraldry  as you play through seasonal themed DLC content.  Focus Entertainment and Saber Interactive say the themes will celebrate some fan favorite factions in the Warhammer 40k universe.
