Focus Entertainment and Saber Interactive have dropped patch 3 for Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2, the follow up to 2011’s Warhammer 40K: Space Marine, that launched earlier this month.

The new game update includes the long awaited ultrawide support for those of you out there who happened to be so blessed with an ultrawide monitor, private lobbies for the game’s co-op Operations mode, and a Sparring Arena, to round things out.

The Sparring Arena is located on the Battle Barge and can be accessed directly from the Launch Bay in Operations or Eternal War (PvP) modes. As its name would imply, the Sparring Arena allows players to duke it out with their squad mates in between missions.

One additional quality of life change made in the update is the ability to reset custom color presets and have them immediately replaced with predefined color sets.

The team also made a number of gameplay and balancing tweaks with this update, making improvements to the marking tool, huge buffs to the Power Fist’s damage, and a number of buffs to the Heavy Plasma and Med Stims.

There’s plenty more in the update, including tweaks to the campaign difficulty, Operations Mode, and PvP. Get all the details on the Space Marine 2 official forums.
